Choosing a Builder
The right builder is critical to ensure the success of a project. Using their experience, csa architects will advise on the capabilities of local firms and either issue tender documents on your behalf or negotiate a price to undertake the work. csa will provide such services on smaller projects but would recommend and appoint a quantity surveyor on behalf of the client for more complicated, larger schemes. They will provide services for traditional procurement or "design and build" contracts.
Running Contract
csa architects are a chartered architectural practice, as such they can administer recognised building contracts that tie the chosen contractor to dates, quality, standards and most importantly cost. The documents will state what insurance is required, how extras are valued and how disputes can be handled. Contracts are essential safeguard for major investment. csa will inspect the quality of work and certify valuations prior to paying the contractor.
Certification
csa are able to independently certify all building work, meeting the requirements of mortgage lenders.
