Action Plan - Regeneration - Newham, Truro

csa have been appointed by Cornwall Development Company, on behalf of the Newham Improvemnt Project Stakeholders to prepare a strategic action plan for the regeneration and improvement of Newham, Truro. The port of Truro and Newham area is one of the largest single employment space sites in Cornwall. csa have been appointed to undertake an action plan for this area to identify potential projects, opportunities and investigate the viability of each scheme using a matrix. csa are undertaking a contextual analysis and masterplan, leading a specialist team of consultants to undertake this feasibility stage of the action plan. csa are utilising the skills of their in-house urban designer, landscape architect, financial and planning consultants, alongside specialist commercial agents, quantity surveyors and highways consutlants to undertake this action plan. The final document may be adopted as supplementary planning guidance, in association with Truro Town Council and Cornwall Council, who are also major stakeholders and consultees for this project.  The regeneration area extnds to approximately 48Ha and represents one of the largest single projects in Cornwall, comprising of a supermarket, non food retail, trade counter sales, commerical office and industrial uses, combined with the commercial port, leisure and residential uses.
