Town Centre House, Truro

This site in central Truro has an extensive planning history, including four planning refusals and a dismissed appeal. CSA were commissioned following unsuccessful applications by previous architects, technicians and planning consultants. Analysing the planning history, csa established that the earlier reasons for refusal primarilly related to the perception of overdevelopment of this compact site; therefore sought to produce a unique, site specific design solution, which has been well received by the planning department. This small development has been designed to be "insular" self contained, with extensive green roofs, rainwater harvesting, super-insulated structure, to achieve Code Level 5; as assessed b csa's in-house Code for Sustinable Homes assessors. Again, demonstrating a comprehensive and integrated service; to overcome previous planning issues.
