Luxury Maritime House - South Coast

csa were commisioned by a private client to design this contemporary, maritime, luxury residence, in accordance with the  brief. Exceeding 6,000sqft, the design is arranged as reverse level accommodation; the open plan kitchen/dining room and living room spans the entire top floor, the building is built into the topography so that the top floor opens out onto a rear, south facing garden. Therefore the lower two floors are built into the ground and are subsequently single aspect. The views are extensive accross the bay and out to see, which dictated expanses of glass to maximise the outlook. Completed in Summer 2010.
