New Budget Hotel - West Cornwall

csa were commisioned to design a new budget hotel in  prominent roadside locaion, adjacent to Cornwall's busiest road, the A30. The modern design accommodates 68 bedrooms and will be a landmark building on Cornwall's arterial route. The site s in a prominent location adjacent to the Tolvaddon Road junction and required a tall element to be visible from the dual carriageway, which also creates a fantastic design feature. The use of copper cladding accentuates the mining history of the area, which was rich in copper and the design uses natural materials and architectural features to reinforce the sense of place and character of the area as a bespoke, site specific design for a national brand.
