CSA were commissioned by Midas Developments to obtain planning consent for 4 speculative industrial units, totalling 45,000sqft, following the success of the Stralfors project. Midas Construction were then appointed on a Design and Build basis and CSA were novated to provide full services including site supervision. The project has been part-financed using Objective One funding and we are pleased to be associated with this development, working with Midas. The development was completed in March 2006. The scheme was designed to retain all excavated material on-site to create an earth bund, providing mitigation for sound between the units and adjoining housing estate. A substantial cut and fill exercise was undertaken and the finished levels are as much as 5m below existing at the rear of the site.
