Situated in a prominent location, overlooking the mouth of the Helford River,on the Lizard Peninsular; this substantial 1930s House, 520sqm (5,500sqft) was completely refurbished from top to bottom, with an Art Deco style extension, specifically for entertaining and to provide a new home office. The existing building was gutted, modernised and re-worked in terms of plan layout. The buiding envelope was re-lined to improve the thermal performance and energy efficiency of the dwelling; which has now been given a new lease of life. These very discerning clients demanded a very high specification and high quality finish throughout. The project was completed in July 2009. Csa provided full architectural services from conception to completion.
